I want to run for president someday part 2

My fellow Americans,

If we look into the eyes of destruction — we shall surely find destruction. But if we look into the eyes of peace, we shall find peace.

Now, it is true — from time to time — we must face the grim gaze of destruction, if only to understand it. But we must never worship it. We must never be drawn into its twisted reflection and become entranced by the spectacle. That, my friends, is the danger.

Earlier today, I spoke of my intention to run for President of these United States — and I said I’d be running as a Democrat. Some folks didn’t take kindly to that. And that’s alright. In this great nation of ours, we cherish the freedom to disagree.

But I ask you now — every man and woman of good will — when can we start trusting each other again?

When can Democrats and Republicans, not always agree, but at the very least understand one another?

Not to surrender our convictions, but to acknowledge one another’s humanity. To listen. To speak with clarity — and with kindness.

That is my hope. That is our challenge. And I believe we are equal to it.

Thank you, and may God bless America.

Very vague. If you are running for President of the United States, I want to know your qualifications. Where have you served previously? What was your track record at your previous job?

What is your position on the economy?
What is your position on illegal immigration?
What is your position on men playing in women's sports?
What will you do about governors and mayors who harbor criminals in sanctuary cities?
