Never on Fox. Can't say which network though. Contracts need to be fulfilled.

@jshm2 Of Course you are correct. But I thought a nice conspiracy might help trump be distracted from his Epstein worries..😷

CBS decided to cut its $40M per year losses on the Colbert show. Other losses on other networks will also be cut not that it has started. Colbert has enough money to retire next door to Matt Lauer. Alec Baldwin’s vacation home is on the market.

@jackjjackson OK. Now thats a possible reason. Asvertising revenues for broadcast TV are dropping. I suspect the $40 Million "loss" is actually the total production cost. But you may be onto something. Still, the timing id curious.. And I know for a fact that Colbert is not losing the most money...😷
Production cost is $100M per year $20M is Colbert’s salary and $40M is the actual loss. I suspect the same ratios perhaps not amounts apply to Kimmel and Fallon too. Back in the heydays of Jack Paar and Johnny Carson which established the late night format there was no cable or streaming competition not even vcrs or dvrs. They were the only choice. We should continue to expect network cost slashing. Streaming services produce their own content which is consistently superior to costly network content. This is all chalked up to the fact that times change. @whowasthatmaskedman

@jackjjackson OK. Thank you for clarifying. And I agree. the days of network TV are number. The internet and streaming are allowing the market to segment into very narrow niche markets..😷
