Judge blocks trump's ice raids

Says that they need proof and reasonable cause rather than just picking up anyone. I'm so happy for this but we'll see how long it lasts. Trump's been ignoring the courts, even Reagan appointed ones, for the entire time he's been president. But I haven't heard of an actual blocking of his immigration policies so we'll see. This is good news though.

Remember, Trump owns the Supreme Court, so it’s probably just temporary.

@Softandsweet2 This is an incredibly sad statement attesting to the depths Trump has brought the country to. Imagine: The Supreme Court owned by a single political figure.

Even MAGAts with their pea sized brains should be concerned that something like this could happen in the free world.

@Softandsweet2 I learned it was only a local thing, I'm happy for Los Angeles, since it's isolated Trump may not be able to do anything if it's state related. So this could possibly be good. There was a few other laws enacted around Los Angeles too. I hate that it's only local but that's what it is. @MoveAlong

@MoveAlong I actually don't want Maga concerned about it at all because if Trump can own the supreme court, a democrat could too. We just need someone with the balls enough to cement power. And honestly? I'm being kinda hyperbolic, of course it's a huge issue but anything Trump can do, others can and if those others have good intentions but want to just disobey the law, Trump sets a precedence to do that.

I think it's sweet Trump let us all know we can just do what we want and the law doesn't matter. What goes around, comes around 🥴
