This is mostly the fault of Republicans, but I blame the establishment Democrats too. A lot of White Nationalists and even Nazis like Israel because it helps to normalize ethnostates. They can claim that all they want is a white ethnostate, the same way Israel is an ethnostate for Jews. It's an argument the Alt-Right used all the time.
By the Democrats constantly condemning anyone who dares argue against Israel as an ethnostate, they're giving the Right exactly what they want in America.
