Pam Bondi on opioids?

Attorney General Pam Bondi proclaimed that the Trump administration’s fentanyl seizures have saved “over 119 million lives,” an estimate she later raised to 258 million. Quite a feat! Especially considering that there are only 342 million Americans as that would be somewhere between a third and three-fourths of the entire country!

Now I don’t know about your relatives, friends, co-workers, etc. but my circle of close and even distant acquaintances don’t use opioids or—for that matter—any other illicit substances.

How on earth did someone so ignorant of law, ignorant of high school level general knowledge, devoid of any grasp of science, and totally lacking in common sense become the US Attorney General???

But there’s a bright side! We narrowly dodged a bullet in that MATT GAETZ was tRUMP’s first pick!

Really though...did we? Dodge a bullet?
@Carla Well, perhaps I am being overly optimistic in that assessment, but AFAIK Pam Bondi hasn’t sex trafficked minors, openly watched porn on the House floor, or used cocaine.

Not that I would be particularly surprised if I learn that she has…

@KunsanVeteran hmmm...does covering for an abuser, which is enabling, less of an offense, more or equal?
@Carla That’s a very good and tough question!

I don’t know…

Hopefully others will weigh in. Certainly it should be disqualifying, though!
