Oh no... people are angry at actual satire. You know why it's funny... because it's true. Unlike the Babylon Bee, this cartoon doesn't excist in an alternate universe. It's really pointing at an unconvenient truth.

Here is an example of 2021, where people don't want the governements help. This is a video of a comission in Kerr county, which was actually in the disaster area. None of the people that take the microphone want governement help. One of them even repeats Reagan slogan going: "Most Terrifying Words – ‘I’m from the government and I’m here to help.". You know that one Sporter, because these are your people.
But yeah... these people could have gotten money during the Biden term to build up their protection. But they didn't want any of it, because of a lot of dumb bigoted reasons. And fear... fear, largely picked up on social media from people like you Sporter, that post dumb stuff the entire day.
And governement officials in Texas also voted against spending money that would protect their citizens, because it's tax money... and taxes is something really nasty.
But when things get nasty... people don't like to be reminded of their earlier choices and stances that create issues in the pressent. Then suddenly, the governement can help... as if by miracle all those values go out of the window. I can't wait till the die hard republicans remind people on how: "we are all going to die".

So yeah... it's really sad what these people are going through. I believe they are eligble to get money from funds that aid people. But maybe, some of the human catastrophy could have been prevented, if people were just open for taking governement aid for prevention instead of aid too ease the pain of the disaster.
