Republicans cancel elections in Miami Florida

Basically they're term limited and decided to stop the elections because they wanted to stay in office for longer. So they denied people's right to vote. This is only the beginning, I wouldn't doubt if we never have another election again.

As a fiscal voter, I have thought a lot about potentially saving money by only holding elections on even years.

That being said, I've also determined that people don't pay attention to the very down ballot elections and so the smaller elections with mostly be about who you got in the bigger elections, of course they might consider that good as well, if they do better att the state level than the local level.

So I think got cost, it's a good idea, but for making the election the most meaningful, it's bad.

@SatanBurger Yeah, he was defending the move by claiming that they just moved to change Florida election years by one year. I was fixing to tell him that's how it starts when he deleted everything.

As the man says, this is a test case to go to the supreme court. After that, the door is open for all states to "postpone" elections..without refering to the people.. But hey! Does it really matter? Look what Americans did last time they got a chance to vote... And this is why America cant have nice things,...

@LordShadowfire Yup I don't think we're going to have any more elections. I'm just waiting for everyone to get mad cos they are not mad enough despite the uproar it caused recently. Most voters are mad but they're not mad enough and need to get there.
