More social democrat probably is best description of me. As a youngster j would say socialist and I'm still considerably to the left politically but I'm not so sure about Clause IV as I was then.

To secure for the workers by hand or by brain the full fruits of their industry and the most equitable distribution thereof that may be possible upon the basis of the common ownership of the means of production, distribution and exchange, and the best obtainable system of popular administration and control of each industry or service.

@OldBrit the key is defining equitable. Today the CEPs make thousands of times the income of the workers

@samueltyler2 but I don't support the full ownership and control of the economy and services.

However the bottom line is that capitalism unfettered means one person ends up owning everything.

@OldBrit Pluse there are negative externailites to capitalism and capitalism only thinks of profit now, it provides no moral compass
