ICE Arrests 130 Iranian Nationals in Week-Long Security Sweep Under Trump Directive

Federal agents under a new Trump administration directive have been working overtime to protect our country. According to reports, U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) just arrested 130 Iranian nationals across the country in a single week.

US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has reportedly arrested 130 Iranian nationals across the country within the last week as part of an intensified Trump administration initiative to locate and detain individuals considered potential security threats following the US’ strikes on Iran’s nuclear facilities.

According to multiple federal sources cited by Fox News reporter Bill Melugin, 670 Iranian nationals are currently being held in ICE detention facilities nationwide and that 130 were arrested in the last seven days.

This wave of arrests is just the start. Officials report that a total of 670 Iranian nationals are now in ICE custody. This is the direct result of what one former border official called “the biggest national security vulnerability we’ve ever seen.” The previous administration’s open-door policy created a crisis that President Trump is now forced to clean up.

These are not harmless immigrants. The details of who was arrested are terrifying. One man, a former member of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), admitted to having connections with the Hezbollah terrorist group. Another was on the Terror Watchlist and had been living here illegally for eight years. Worst of all, authorities arrested a former Iranian military sniper who got into our country on a K-1 fiancé visa.

In other words, he got into the U.S. during Il Duce's first term.

@beckyromero Which is why you were among the leading proponents of securing the borders against the invasion of illegal aliens, right?

I am on record as securing the border.

AND

Proposing to allow undocumented immigrants to apply for green card (which would entail a background check). Those who guilty of committing violent crimes (i.e. NOT parking tickets, etc.) get deported. Others can stay and after a certain number of years permit an application for citizenship.

Essentially, not much different than the proposals of conservative commentator Bill O'Reilly from well over a decade ago.

What I did NOT support are silly photo ops claiming I'd build a wall and make Mexico pay for it.

Trump had FOUR YEARS to secure the border, but he FAILED and that Iranian terrorist you mentioned got in.

@beckyromero Yup, your record at securing the border is missing something

More funding to the Coast Guard to patrol the coasts, more funding for board patrol guards and aircraft, high tech sensors, interception of drug plane drops, etc.

If we can't find tunnels under the border used to smuggle drugs and people, it's no wonder we can't find Iran's hidden nuke secrets.

And did you forget that I long called for repealing PTNR for China? Get those transnationals to pull out and set up shop in Mexico and Central America. THAT is the best way to decrease the flow of undocumented immigrants: jobs in the home nations.
