@BohemianBabe No, Democrats aren’t “just as bad as Republicans on foreign policy.” I agree that Democratic presidents have still been too favorable to Israel, but they’re not as bad as Republicans. Obama didn’t move the US embassy to Jerusalem, and I think Biden stopped arming Israel, didn’t he? Trump supporters are openly in favor of helping Israel complete the genocide of Gaza. I mean if you point blank ask them, “Do you want Gaza exterminated?” A lot of them will say yes.
I was greatly discouraged in 2024 when several progressive congressmen, among them Cori Bush from my home state of Missouri, lost primaries to more moderate Zionist Democrats. This is the first I’ve heard of Mamdani, do you think she has a solid chance?
