Are u for or against illegal immigration ๐Ÿ”

Of course many of you are aware of the deportations going on here in the US right now.
I think most of us are against anything illegal.
But here's the problem. President Trump seems so eager to get certain demographics of people out of the US for his own personal reasons or agenda. But what about the people he pardoned
from January 6. Do you see the hypocrisy here. We are talking about a federal crime here . You cannot expect people to follow the law when you are breaking them yourself. What is your opinion on this mess. Answers please. ๐Ÿ™„

I am for the Rule of Law and Due Process and The Constitution.

Entering the US illegally is a misdemeanor....not a felony. First time offense is a fine and possible jail time up to 6 months. Repeated offences can become a felony, with harsher penalties and jail time.

Those who enter illegally may also claim asylum. That means they are guaranteed to have their claim in a court of law, and a judge determine their fate.

Nobody supports having murderers and drug dealers and human traffickers into the country.....but even they must have due process. That is the law.

Sweeping up people off the streets who have been in the US for years, with no other criminal record is insane....especially by masked men.

If they have no other criminal record, they should be given a green card, and a path to citizenship.

The fact is, the vast majority of these people have integrated into neighborhoods and are working and paying taxes.
