Are u for or against illegal immigration 🔐

Of course many of you are aware of the deportations going on here in the US right now.
I think most of us are against anything illegal.
But here's the problem. President Trump seems so eager to get certain demographics of people out of the US for his own personal reasons or agenda. But what about the people he pardoned
from January 6. Do you see the hypocrisy here. We are talking about a federal crime here . You cannot expect people to follow the law when you are breaking them yourself. What is your opinion on this mess. Answers please. 🙄

Illegal immigration is only a problem because of government policy. Not Trump. This is longstanding through many administrations. There has long been a tacit link between undocumented immigration and the cheap labor market, which has supplied seasonal and cheap labor and kept costs down, even providing a buffer to put downward pressure on legal wages..For this reason the relatively simple steps that could be employed to stop the undocumented hiring practices were never put in place. Just lip service paid. Now suddenly Trump has made these people who provided a needed service the enemy..Just to get the attention of the ignorant masses. And its going to rebound in the form of shortages and price increases for everyone.😷

Like I told a MAGA coworker about "the wall" and deporting Mexican immigrant labor, I said "build the wall and deport all the Mexican labor, just don't cry about a single Apple costing $6 dollars each. These people are clueless to how the American economy works?

Sorry, I didn't mean to imply that I support any of it, I was trying to give him an example of what would happen if these policies were implemented.

@calicuz A complex, developed economy like Americas is a highwire juggling act performed in a thinderstorm at the best of times. And these are not the best of times.. Trumps ham fisted bully boy act has failed on the world stage so badly that a global recession is now almost inevitable. He just spent a month and made several concessions to get China to agree to what they already agreed to. Just so he gets the same headline twice.😷

@calicuz I got your point. But watching such a terrible outcome for everyone concerned is depressing.. No one wins out of this..But it all started with union busting cheap labour..😷

@whowasthatmaskedman We are not blaming Trump for illegal immigration itself. We are blaming him for the process and the propaganda behind it. ☺
