U.S. Senator Alex Padilla of California was physically assaulted
6/12/25 - Senator Padilla forced to the ground, handcuffed, and removed from a Department of Homeland Security press conference by the Trump administration in Los Angeles.
It happened after Padilla identified himself and tried to ask Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem a question during the event, which was in response to the ongoing ICE raids and militarization against protesters in LA this past week.
This is not supposed to happen in the United States. This is fascism on full display.
If this is how the administration treats a sitting U.S. Senator, what are they willing to do to civilians? Senator Padilla said it himself: If this is how the administration responds to a Senator with a question, you can only imagine what they're doing to farmworkers, cooks, and day laborers throughout the country.
Trump and his far-right goons have already sicced ICE and their Gestapo tactics on immigrant communities across the country to carry out their mass deportation agenda.

@SandWitch To be fair only one of those attempts was staged. No way trump would stand still while the best shot in the world nicked his ear. That poor sucker was just unlucky. But if he has got him now you would be looking at president Vance. Be afraid......😷

Trump in a way is like the Late Saddam Hussein. As long as Saddam was around, the Middle East was under his full control and since Saddam had been around for a long time, his actions were very predictable.
Trump in that regard is exactly the same as Saddam. As long as Trump is around, the MAGA-right will remain under his full control and since Trump has been in everyone's face for 30+ years, his actions remain VERY predictable.
Like they say, it's better to dance with the devil you know than with the devil you don't know! Nobody knows anything about Vance.
@SandWitch But the trouble is, we do know how Vance came to be. Pushed at the Trump boys by Stephen miller of Project 2025 fame. Now we can speculate on the quid pro quo there. maybe as extreme as Don Jnr getting offers the VP. (there is a terrifying picture) But more likely legal immunity for all sorts.. So Vance is Millers boy.. And if Trump becomes troublesome to Miller, he will either have an accident or stroke or be removed as unfit to perform his duties..But Trumps current bull in the china shop routine is working well for Miller..😷
