RFK Jr. removes all current members of CDC vaccine advisory committee
CNN reports:
“ US Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on Monday dismissed an expert panel of vaccine advisers that has historically guided the federal government’s vaccine recommendations, saying the group is “plagued with conflicts of interest.”
The entirety of the 17-member Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, which advises the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on the vaccine schedule and required coverage of immunizations, will be retired and replaced with new members, Kennedy announced in a Wall Street Journal op-ed. The HHS secretary has authority to appoint and dismiss ACIP members, who typically serve four-year cycles. But removing the entire panel prematurely is unprecedented.”

[Kennedy] announced eight new members of the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, or ACIP, on Wednesday. It appears all of these appointees subscribe to the “Great Barrington Declaration.” This is a flawed document based on bad science/research and will seriously harm public health in our country.
Rather than delve into each of the eight appointees, here is the link to an expose authored by Dr. Stephen Archer, the Chair of the Internal Medicine Department at Queen’s University and School of Medicine, Ontario, Canada to discuss the flaws and biases of this “Declaration.”

My Commentary: Once again I am calling for the immediate resignation or firing of Kennedy. It certainly appears he committed perjury at his Senate hearing. I also believe that Senator Cassidy (R—LA) should resign, as he was key to every single Republican Senator voting to appoint Kennedy. Cassidy certainly knew better.
Kennedy is setting health care back to a very, very dark time prior to safe and effective vaccines, modern medicines, and advanced health care.
We know better and this must not stand!
