Greta Thunberg deported by Israel in the Mediterranean.

Where is the US Navy? Why are we not protecting freedom of the seas? We have 14 ships including 2 carrier strike groups in the Mid-East. Do we expect China to believe that we are protecting freedom of the seas in the Taiwan Straits?

@BohemianBabe There's more than one country involved. Iran and Qatar are supplying Hamas and the US is supplying Israel. And those are just the countries we know about.

If the enemy is an ethnic group, why isn't Israel also bombing the West Bank and it's own Israeli Arab citizens? Were the Allies in World War Two carrying out a "genocide" against Germans, Italians, and Japanese people? Was the Union carrying out a "genocide" against white Southerners in the Civil War?

@StygianKohlrabi Putin's war in Ukraine meets every definition of genocide. His stated goal is the obliteration of the Ukrainian national identity, or at least it was at the beginning of the war. The Russians are even kidnapping Ukrainian children and bringing them back to Russia to be raised as Russians. But you won't hear any of the people bleating about Israel mention anything about that, other than wanting Ukraine to surrender.

@StygianKohlrabi Genocide is a large-scale attempt at eliminating a population. October 7th was a racially-motivated attack, but it wasn't big enough to be a genocide.

@BohemianBabe The birth rate in Gaza is equal to the death rate, so if the population stays the same, it's not a genocide. Compare this to the population drops in actual genocides.

@BohemianBabe The people on the Madleen were definitely defending Hamas. I've spoken to people on here whose only problem with Oct. 7 was that it wasn't more effective.

Acting like no one in the pro-Palestinian camp thinks Israel shouldn't exist is naive.
