Sadly, it also takes millions of pliant Americans to feed their delusions of grandeur.
SunshineGirl · 36-40, F
@georgelong Their expensive policies are certainly fuelled by tax money!
Kwek00 · 41-45, M
@georgelong Are we flaunting the "patriotism" again George. It's so patriotic of you to support an insurectionist that doesn't believe in the constitution and wants to rewrite history to fit his own fantasies. Not to mention, have a cryptocoin that allows him to be bribed by pretty much anyone that has the funds to buy into it, selling away parts of your country for the greed of a few... such patriotism.

patriotic US citizen taxpayers

Exactly, patriotic US citizen taxpayers are feeding their delusions of grandeur. For once, we agree!

FoxyQueen · 51-55, F
I agree. I don't know who all is at all surprised this happened. I can't imagine anyone not seeing this coming once musk left. He was pretty sour about it and trump provided no comfort, just cold, "eh, his time was up".
MoveAlong · 70-79, M
I don't GAS if they fight each other to the death. Wealthy people think they know what's best for everyone else. These two in particular have power and are trying to make it so.
JonUK41 · 36-40, M
Ill grant you Trump is not very smart. The usual line is everything he did was because of his dad's money.

But do you honestly believe Musk got to be the richest man in the world by being not very smart? If he's not very smart what attributes does he have?
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
@JonUK41 sales and marketing of other people's ideas and efforts

trump does the same, but clumsily. If there's credit to be had, trump immediately steals it. If there's blame to be apportioned, trump is busy throwing his friends under the bus.
newjaninev2 · 56-60, F
On the up-side, it will take a surprisingly short time for both of them to fade into obscurity... both are destined to become uninteresting footnotes.
iamthe99 · M
@newjaninev2 True. And it also looks as though Musk is about to cave.
georgelong · 46-50, M
That’s it? You’re reduced to THAT? No brilliant policy ideas?
