When you hear people say “Kids today have no respect”
What I hear is "I’ve done something that causes kids not to show me respect, and I'm not mature enough to acknowledge I did something wrong."

I PRAY you're not a public school teacher. Certainly you couldn't get away with that stupidity in a Florida school.
To bring you up to speed with history (since it's apparent you dropped out of a blue state school at an early age) people have been accusing kids of having no respect throughout history. It has always been a generational complaint, and it has always been true.
Kids don't know enough to be able to judge someone as deserving respect. They are kids. That's why they are in school, to LEARN things.
If a kid tells me that Adolf Hitler (the hero of the Democrat party) was a saint, he's full of shit. It's not a matter of maturity. The kid is just plain wrong.
