Part of what we’re also seeing is the favoring not of Christians per se, but of a certain kind of Christianity.
I'm not a religious person. I deconverted in my early 20s. I am a strong advocate for keeping churches out of the state. But, if we absolutely had to have a Christian nation, it astounds me that we select such a callous and unloving version of Christianity. As an atheist I can still identify a lot of great messages within the religion. And somehow we are ending up with groups that espouse the worst aspects without the redeeming ones. It's horrifying.
Normally .. I wouldn't either, but these people wish the same for us and they're doing everything they can to destroy everything. Their policies are already dictating deaths for many people. That's why I have a different mindset on this. These people will not turn, they will not change their mindset or even contemplate doing that. They don't care what's happening because they don't care about anyone else. All they have is hate and they feed on it. There's no vaccine for this. That is why I stand where I do on this issue. They have no compassion and would just as soon get rid of the people that want their freedoms and rights. Look at what their leaders doing. They condone it therefore they are the same.
Incidentally, I have taken the trouble to wade through the Heritage Foundation's "manifesto", after seeing the organisation referred to several times on SW. Not comfortable reading.
Not complicated. Rutte, the head of NATO was a Christian Democrat from Holland - fascist. You just loves you some complications when fascism is obvious. Gahead. Like it's on fire and shooting itself, the West! But gahead with that!
