@TexChik a person can legally muse about the passing of the potus. They can wish it would come to pass. By any means. A person cannot pose a direct threat in words or deeds towards the potus.
As a seasoned litigator, a constitutional scholar and free speech absolutist, you should be well schooled in these matters.

It was neither a threat, nor an incitement of violence. It wasn’t even condoning Crooks actions. Just a bit of wishful thinking, which last I checked wasn’t illegal. It was arguably in bad taste, but if publicly saying thing in bad taste is a felony, your orange god king would have been serving prison time a long time ago 😉
