Hegseth Kicking Himself For Not Just Getting 13 Soldiers Killed And Giving $80 Billion In Weapons To Terrorists

With lawmakers calling for Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth to resign over leaked Yemen attack plans, Hegseth expressed deep regret for not instead getting soldiers killed in a chaotic withdrawal and handing $80 billion of weaponry to terrorists.

With Democrats demanding answers over how a journalist got added to a group text where top-secret information was shared, Hegseth wished he had provided the Taliban with Blackhawk helicopters so he could avoid uncomfortable questions.

"I apologize for not exposing our soldiers to terrorist attacks and giving billions in high-grade weaponry to Islamists hellbent on killing us," said Hegseth. "My job wouldn't be in jeopardy today if I had simply handed control of an entire country over to the people who perpetrated September 11th. I promise to rectify these terrible shortcomings to the satisfaction of the Democratic Party."

Though Hegseth vowed to discover who was responsible for intel being leaked to a journalist, he remained remorseful for not having planes take off while Afghanis tried to hang on to the wheel wells. "As I watch these videos again of bodies falling from the sky, I'm reminded that this was acceptable performance," said Hegseth. "I've clearly fallen short."

At publishing time, Hegseth had attempted to stave off Democrats' calls for his resignation by building a $350 million dock to give Hamas weapons, getting a soldier killed doing it, and then sinking the dock.

Everytime a congressional staffer messes up maybe the congressman should resign
@MarineBob Nobody should be posting classified info in a group chat on Signal. It's not approved for that level of security. Not to mention violating the Federal Records Act by having the chat self-delete in a week.

It was Hegseth himself who posted this confidential info:

In January 2023, Hegseth, then a "Fox & Friends Weekend" co-host, appeared on Fox News and called Biden's actions "nefarious, sloppy and dumb."

"If the top man in the job was handling classified documents this flippantly for that long, why was that the case? Was it really that he didn't know? When you take something out of the SCIF [Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility] if you're a senator, you know exactly what you're doing. You had to sneak it out,"

In 2016, Hegseth told Fox News, "If it was anyone other than Hillary Clinton, they would be in jail right now... because the assumption is in the intelligence community, if you are using unclassified means, there is likelihood that foreign governments are targeting those accounts."

@ElwoodBlues You mean like the classified documents kindly old dictator biden stole over 50 years and kept in his garage before selling them for $8,000,000?
