He considers empathy a weakness of western cultures, I recently read.

More pointedly, he talked of suicidal empathy (too much). Obviously, he thinks there is too much in US policy.

Interestingly, the Chief Presecutor at the Nuremburg trials said LACK of empathy was the one common trait of the fascists he prosecuted.

Socialism was supposed to be the duty of all legitimate governments. The entitlements that guarantee a poverty free life of equality in society were supposed to be a given. That's in fact the law! But Americans prefer to believe lies and avoid socialism to commit wars. Now Europe is with you! Now there's no exit.
