Ivy League Professor Who Attended Terrorist’s Funeral Deported

The Trump administration has deported a Lebanese doctor who allegedly attended the funeral of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah and possessed materials sympathetic to other terrorist commanders, according to the Department of Homeland Security.

DHS confirmed Monday on X that they had deported Rasha Alawieh, a 34-year-old Lebanese national who had been working as a kidney transplant doctor and assistant professor at Brown Medicine and Rhode Island Hospital.

“Last month, Rasha Alawieh traveled to Beirut, Lebanon, to attend the funeral of Hassan Nasrallah — a brutal terrorist who led Hezbollah, responsible for killing hundreds of Americans over a four-decade terror spree,” DHS stated. “Alawieh openly admitted to this to [Customs and Border Protection] officers, as well as her support of Nasrallah.

Law enforcement officials claim they also found “sympathetic” videos and images of other top Hezbollah leaders in the deleted files on her cell phone, raising additional concerns about her connections to the terrorist organization.

“A visa is a privilege not a right—glorifying and supporting terrorists who kill Americans is grounds for visa issuance to be denied,” the DHS statement continued. “This is commonsense security.”

The incident began when Alawieh was stopped from re-entering the United States last Thursday when she arrived at Boston’s Logan Airport from Lebanon.

Judge Leo T. Sorokin of the U.S. District Court in Massachusetts, appointed by former President Barack Obama, ordered the administration on Friday not to remove Alawieh without considering her habeas corpus petition seeking to remain in the country.

Officials, however, placed her on an Air France flight to Paris Friday night before they received formal notification of the court order, according to The Boston Globe.

She was subsequently flown back to Lebanon, effectively ending her residence and career in the United States despite the pending legal action.

“Foreign nationals who promote extremist ideologies or carry terrorist propaganda are inadmissible to the U.S., plain and simple,” stated Hilton Beckham, CBP’s Assistant Commissioner of Public Affairs, in a statement to the Daily Caller. “A visa does not guarantee entry — CBP has the final authority after conducting rigorous security checks.”

She wasn't a US citizen and was in the country on a visa.
We need to continue the cleanup and deport every single Cuban who entered the US illegally and who voted for Trump as well an African American with a dual US/Canadian citizenship who is behaving against the principles of the US constituion and the American way of life.
