Do you think they stay up late at night thinking "hmm how can I make the working class richer, they are suffering so much, poor people, I'm going to help them"?

When you reach a level when the tool of money and the financial security it provides, you are going to work to leave the world a better place, or a worse place. Affects of your actions, or inaction might not really be known in your lifetime though.

Elected officials maybe comes down to the character. Some good people who are different from what I lean towards politically have been surprisingly great when looked at objectively.
