IMO it s not as much of a task as it would be if Hollywood and celebrities stood up against The Chinese who have tight controls over movie making in this country.

@soar2newhighs Oh my dear friend, the American people are already sufficiently averse to the Chinese government. I don’t see the need for it.
@CedricH Hollywood is practically owned by China. NOTE: I served in Taiwan and most movies coming out of H/ wood shun any references to Taiwan as it is opposed by the CCP. And most Americans, I have to disagree, are not averse to China because most are not following or have followed China over the last say, last 50 or 60 yrs.

@soar2newhighs Perhaps you haven’t read the news since 2017, but Washington and the broader public a very receptive to anything that is critical of China. It‘s a bipartisan consensus, in fact. You‘re right about Hollywood, though. Just take the Disney production of Mulan as an example.

I don't think that Hollywood was very good at portraying Russia at any period during the 75years of my life. While the USSR, the country murdered untold millions of their own people. Consult Amnesty International, Doctors Without Borders, and many other sources. The continuing sympathy and denial of Hollywood were fixtures in the headlines during those years.
What this country is in need of is agreement of what is right and wrong, and a commitment to act in a manner consistent with this agreement.

I am sure if you are liberal, you are quite happy with Hollywood.
Due to the extreme limits placed on speech and the severe strictures placed on anyone, actor or actress, that
is foolish enough to speak out, I am quite surprised that we are addressing this subject at all. Let's not fool ourselves, Hollywood is fully involved in their relentless quest to find any opportunities for ridicule of Donald Trump while at the same time covering any and all mistakes made by democrats.
We may not have gas ovens here in the U.S. at this time, but let actor want a vacation and all they have to do is star in a Christian movie. There is one approved political party in Hollywood, and we know it is the democratic party. They will do what the CCP wants them to do. They will say what the CCP wants them to say. They will think what the CCP wants them to think.
For Hollywood, right is what the dems tell them is right. Wrong is what the dems tell them is wrong. Cocaine infused idiots determine their standards. What fun.
I would recommend any number of books that might help you have a true sense of reality, but I feel you would not think well of that.
