What did he mean when he said we'll get it one way or another? Why is it that some leaders like to dictate to other countries who will and who won't be a part of their regime.

He is hoping for a global economic collapse.

The country whose is diversified enough might be able to buy or trade anything for cheap.

Problem is this USA is nowhere near self sufficient.

Trump refuses to understand this basic principle of economics. And why he has gone insane on tariffs.

He'll cause a collapse alright. Yet leave the USA with a monstrous nation debt, with no way to pay for it.

That's $106,117 for every man, women and child living the USA.

This is not state, county, city debts or personal debts either.

Its not quite that cut and dried. They just had an election over there and the pro Trump party gained some power. Denmark still controls it for now.

English queens and kings in history have had a similar attitude; "Oh, I really like the sound of .........(insert name of country . Have a bunch of peeps shipped over there, take their land and swipe their natural resources so I can add it to my kingdom"

@autumngirl27 Its kind of different now , Trump takes over Greenland , Canada , Panama. Russia takes over Baltics and Central Asia and part of Europe . China takes over Taiwan and part of India and we get war lasting for next 20 years.

The U S is going bankrupt. Trump sees no other way to solve that than to take oil and minerals from countries with less military presence.

Greenland is part of Sweden, a NATO member since March 7, 2024. Trying to take it by force would cause war with the rest of NATO. It would be the dumbest most self-destructive thing we could conceivably do.
