Americans have not indicated that they oppose killing the ecosystem with electric cars.
Americans do not vote as if they want anything to change.
Efficiency and cars certainly make a strange contrast, contradiction - but nobody here would ever object to cars - they think geometry imposed the cars on us and simply ignore the children killed and the social problems from cars!
In fact, I only - just one person - ever, me alone,- I'm the only person who thinks things ought to change - to include public transportation and housing in walkable cities. Only me. Everyone here besides me never even talks about any of that. Never.
