@TheOneyouwerewarnedabout I am pretty sure Eisenhower might have agreed with that sentiment but it was said by George Washington first. Washington was right. So was Eisenhower.

However, that changed, and as the US interests changed the USA took war to Europe in1941. Peace was never ever a goal of US policy. It's a break in the activity when the USA permits something like detente or Peristroika. The the quest for world domination continues!
