Why won't the woke people support Trump's drive to dismantle Deep State? Are they the Nazis?

Tulsi Gabbard is now America's top spy. Her ascendance to director of national intelligence last month signaled a major shift in views toward government surveillance at the highest rung of the US intelligence community. She pledged to bring about new levels of oversight and transparency to a key US surveillance program that’s long been plagued by reports of misuse.

Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA)—the nation’s cornerstone wiretap authority that, while aimed at collecting intelligence on foreigners overseas, is known to vacuum up large quantities of calls, texts, and emails belonging to Americans. Whistle-blower Edward Snowdon, who warned Americans of this, had to flee to Russia to escape capture by US law enforcement.

Declassifying critical information about the number of US persons whose communications are collected under this surveillance is essential to increasing transparency.

The public deserves to know, what Section 702 is being used for, and how many Americans are swept up in that surveillance.

Because the “deep state” is fiction. There is a problem with your question.

What do you think "Deep State" is? It is a figure of speech to describe elected individuals who exercise power independent of and over people who voted for them instead of serving them.

@sree251 that definition is different than what i heard.

You heard from folks who have gotten it wrong. Take for example, General Brown and Mark Milley, Joint Chiefs of Staff. They reckon they know better than the President elected by the people. Those generals are deep state actors with minds of their own. Politicians, up for election, who shake your hands to get your vote and spit on you after they are elected to office. Those politicians are deep state actors.
