Why won't the woke people support Trump's drive to dismantle Deep State? Are they the Nazis?

Tulsi Gabbard is now America's top spy. Her ascendance to director of national intelligence last month signaled a major shift in views toward government surveillance at the highest rung of the US intelligence community. She pledged to bring about new levels of oversight and transparency to a key US surveillance program that’s long been plagued by reports of misuse.

Section 702 of the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA)—the nation’s cornerstone wiretap authority that, while aimed at collecting intelligence on foreigners overseas, is known to vacuum up large quantities of calls, texts, and emails belonging to Americans. Whistle-blower Edward Snowdon, who warned Americans of this, had to flee to Russia to escape capture by US law enforcement.

Declassifying critical information about the number of US persons whose communications are collected under this surveillance is essential to increasing transparency.

The public deserves to know, what Section 702 is being used for, and how many Americans are swept up in that surveillance.

My genuine answer is because I don’t trust him. He’s not going to actually do anything good for me. He’s going to do things good for himself, bad for me…and then lie about it.

I’m against the things you mentioned here.

But I don’t trust these people to fix it. They’ll just make it worse and again…lie about it.

That’s how us woke feel

We’re opposed to what Trump is doing because it’s Trump and it’s all BS.

That’s what frustrated me so much seeing what people say. And this TDS nonsense.

If you had a surgeon that had a long history of making medical mistakes and you refused to let them operate on your tumor that doesn’t mean you have derangement syndrome against them. Or that you’re pro cancer. You just don’t trust that person to get the job done, even if they say they can.

Good point, and thank you for an honest reply.

@sree251 You and me can disagree sure, but I’m just telling you where we’re coming from.

Did Trump actually lied to and screwed you, and that's why you don't trust him to do right by you?

I’m against the things you mentioned here.

Good. We have a shared basis for action.

But I don’t trust these people to fix it. They’ll just make it worse and again…lie about it.

This is where we part ways: you don't trust these MAGA people but I am willing to give them a chance to fix things that are obviously bad.

We’re opposed to what Trump is doing because it’s Trump and it’s all BS.

Sounds like bigotry driven by hate to me. Isn't that what woke people are against?

That’s what frustrated me so much seeing what people say. And this TDS nonsense.

We need to check this out. TDS is a condition triggered by the very idea of Trump. It's the same deal with Christians triggered by the Devil. And we know the Devil, the opposite of God, is an idea.

@sree251 Now we have to revisit things, what do you mean here:

Sounds like bigotry driven by hate to me. Isn't that what woke people are against?

What does this mean I don’t understand at all what you mean. To the point I genuinely don’t know if we can even have a conversation.

What is bigoted about that?
Kenworth4954 · 56-60, M
@PalteseMalconFunch in all honesty what will he do bad for you? Can you give some specific examples please.

@sree251 What you just said is nonsense. I said because it is a specific individual. Specifically Trump.

Not because he’s straight or white or whatever, Trump specifically.

Do you think it’s bigotry to not want to eat dinner with Hannibal Lector?
@PalteseMalconFunch No one is banning your existence. Absolute BS.

Yes.

Lecter is a brilliant, cannibalistic serial killer and former forensic psychiatrist. He is a fictional character created for a novel. Trump is also a fictional character created by your mind for venting hatred. Trump himself is a showman. He has created a persona for the US presidency. He knows how to push buttons. He has pushed many people's buttons and caused them to implode and fizzle out. Nancy Pelosi was turned into Crazy Nancy like black magic. Pochahontas is stuck in my mind. I can't even recall who she was before when I watch that familiar face railing on TV in a Congressional hearing.

You've got to watch it, man. Don't roll in the mud pit fighting with that pig.
