@Prison1203 Russiagate was about people on Trump's campaign working with Russian officials. So when people say the Muller Report didn't find anything, that's not true. The Muller Report confirmed the accusations.

Now I'm willing to give Trump the benefit of the doubt, maybe he didn't know about this. But what does it say that the Russian government wanted Trump to be president? What does it say that after he won in 2016, Russia still wanted him to be president in 2020 and 2024?

@jackjjackson There's not really that much to reflect on here, though.

I've accepted the fact that Trump won decisively and that a large plurality and majority of those casting votes believed him and his rejection of societal norms, including things like objective facts,laws, justice system, etc.

Trump sells whatever he's got, and while I think it's admirable that folks are still pushing back against his lies and corruption, I've long since given up the idea that pointing out the lies, deceptions, etc will change minds.

We'll see where this goes. Right now, he's creating chaos, and the effects of that chaos may play into the midterms and even make him realize that some norms and institutions are better left at least semi- intact, or it may enable him to "save the country" by destroying them.

Are you good with the increasing exponentially daily?
Are you good with open borders?
Are you not good with eliminating wrongful spending and upgrading government systems and getting up to date software for air traffic controllers?
Are you good with paying way too much for way too bad educational results?
Are you contending that the best approach is pouring more and more money into Ukraine with no chance of repayment and pouring lots of money into countries worldwide that hate and oppose us?
Are you OK paying for a UN that hates us?
Are you OK with China ripping us off by trade imbalance and technology theft?

There are more but let’s start with those.

Wading through the details of of what problems he purports to be addressing is not something I'm really interested in doing this morning.

@MistyCee They're controlled by rich people who want to keep the Left from moving too far Left. By allowing CNN and MSNBC, the rich can control the narrative among Progressives. That's why these stations kneecapped Bernie Sanders and even fired people for speaking out against the Palestinian Genocide. The point is to keep the Left where it is. Give Progressives some outlets to express their beliefs, but if someone pushes for real progressive change, like Socialism, then they get painted as "too extreme."

There's a saying on the Left, Republicans and Democrats work like a wrench. Republicans push us to the Right, Democrats keep us from moving to the Left.
