Paranoia has gripped the Europeans since the rise of the USSR after WW2. This madness, that has caused them to clutch onto Americans for protection and security, created NATO. They are still fearful and that fear of threat, which still exists, is the cause of the Ukraine war. It's time for the US to get out.

@Roundandroundwego Nobody's arguing for a nuclear war, calm the hell down. The US donates gear to its allies all the time, not our fault that the Russians are banging their head against a brick wall we helped strengthen.

@Roundandroundwego The Dems' peace plan is to prevent the Russian army's conquest of Ukraine from succeeding and to bleed the Kremlin of both resources and political capital until it stops. I don't see why either side needs to outright disarm, that seems like a ridiculous bar to clear. Most governments have militaries, for self defense if nothing else.

Weapons never were meant to bring peace. Americans don't bring peace with these two parties. And never plan to.
