The Set-Up: Trump can't deliver on a peace deal because RUSSIA doesn't want peace; it wants Ukraine.

And so because of Trump's promises that only he can "fix it" and could do so in "one day," he and Vance (and with a little help from MTG's boyfriend) concocted a scheme to place all the blame on the failure of a peace deal on Zelenskyy instead of where it really belongs: Russia.

It also gives Trump an excuse to have Congress cut-off military funding for Ukraine, which he only supported during his first term after being backed into a corner when his attempts to first hold the aid hostage in exchange for political dirt on Joe and Hunter Biden were exposed (and which led to his first impeachment).

Very true.

I mean, Russia aren’t even trying to hide their intentions. Just listen to Dmitry Medvedev, deputy chairman of the security council, ex-president, and overall a very influential figure in Russia.

He claims Poland and the Baltic states are only “temporarily outside of Russian control”. What do people think this means??

That was my assessment too, Becky
Exactly. Putin and Musk just bought Trump's freedom but what else does Putinn have on him?

The only obstacle to that plan is that there are a number of Republicans in Congress who aren't willing to sacrifice Ukraine to Putin's imperialism.

Funding won't even come to a vote in the House unless Speaker Johnson allows it.

Exactly. Putin doesn't want peace, he wants a piece.

@Carazaa Trump is notorious for not honoring his end of an agreement.

It is pretty ridiculous that the media is even pretending this is about both sides coming together to work on a solution when the whole disagreement is that one side is stealing from the other side. And the Musk-Trump admin is siding with the aggressor.

@Carazaa And we can trace the fact that these people are not using critical thinking to cuts to the educational system.
tRUMP always was, is now, and forever will be a PUPPET FOR PUTIN!

A Russian asset does NOT represent the interests of Ukraine or the United States!
