(sniff - sniff) Hmmm ... the odor of Zelensky - Democrat collusion in the air?

Looks like Democrat puppet masters are in control of Zelensky. Suspected so since Biden and a Democrat congress GAVE Ukraine $300 BILLION without accountability or collateral or an expected payback. Everyone else funding Ukraine LOANED them the money.

By driving a wedge between Trump and Zelensky, it's unlikely that Zelensky will help the US account for the money and equipment given to Ukraine.

If Russia thinks that parts of Ukraine belongs to Russia why not just let the people who live there decide? It's for the people to decide, not US Democrats. So why not start with a cease fire agreement and then let the people decide.

I saw Starmer sucking up to Zelenskyy in an interview today, and he promised him that the British people will give him their unconditional support. The expression on Zelenskyy's face was...mollified. He is USED to rich governments sucking up to him.

I DON'T think it was the Democrats who effed up that interview. I think it was the meeting Z had with Lindsay Graham, who was supposed to "prep" him for his meeting with Trump. THAT meeting had no witnesses...and Graham's campaign funds ALL come from the military industrial complex. It is THEY who want unending war. Forever.

As to the last paragraph above, it's a bit naive to think that Putin is going to let ANYONE just "decide" whether or not they want to be part of Russia.

You are getting ahead of the strategy. There is no automatic next step after a cease fire. Don't assume a cease fire is a prelude to surrender. A cease fire is simply a step to stop the killing. It's an attempt to replace fighting with talking. For Ukraine it's also an opportunity to fortify its defenses, to reconstitute its forces. to reorganize its supporters, get better weapons, etc., etc. All while not being shelled by Russia.

It's a pause in hope of talking things over. Who knows what may happen during a pause; maybe Putin will fall off his horse and kill himself? Or be shot by one of his own, or....

Imagine the conversations between our (Biden) State Department people in Ukraine with their Ukraine contacts between the election in early November and January 20th.

@Heartlander Zelenskyy doesn't WANT to talk things over. He will also not allow his fighters to simply leave and go over to the Russians. He has become a petty little dictator...he has canceled free elections, and he has shut down religious worship. His rules do not allow MEN to leave Ukraine, and he has conscripted every single man right up to the age of 43.

Vietnam all over again. And that turned the south Vietnamese against their own government and willing to accept surrender to the North as a better option. Likewise, South Vietnam required an exit Visa and prevented Vietnamese men from leaving. Also the US prohibited the south from taking the war to the north.

Without a cease fire the likely next step may well be a civil war when the people turn against Zelensky. They will likely turn against him either way; but now rather than later could mean a million fewer casualties.

They have decided, they have tried numerous votes since Zelenskyy got in, he suspended all polls, many of the People of the Crimea are actually aiding Putin in the fight against the Ukranian Nazi.
