A general statement that his businesses have collected government funds is treacherously disingenuous.

Given the fact of him supplying actual intergovernmental security communications services, which is an actual product. These firms are actual companies. Not ngos or unis with their hands out. Companies that pay corporate taxes can't just give services to governments for no charge.

Also note that to number the western and near western hemisphere governments over ten years time his company has sold services to are numerous. In that inflammatory statement might not include funds granted to poor countries that bought access and hardware for com link sat technology.

@Kypro Has the rule of it being manifestly impossible to prove the non existence of a thing been inverted in make believe world?

I dunno. I do not get out much. Lol

@Kypro I'm not into tilting at windmills.

Million dollar loans to fledgling companies aren't villanous. Especially when they're paid back.

Don't feel jealous because you never took out a multimillion dollar loan. Be grateful you never had to live with the stress of not losing it all because you couldn't repay one.
SteelHands · 61-69, M
@Kypro 38 bil was not the amount of the loan. Read better.
Kypro · 51-55, M
@SteelHands even worse. Billions were just handed to him. Read it again

@Kypro FALSE.

Read my first reply below.
In addition, 卐LON is trying to get a $2.4 billion FAA contract for aircraft control system communications upgrade assigned to SpaceX.

That contract was put up for competitive bidding (as almost all gov't contracts are) and won by Verizon back in 2023. But now, in a YUGE conflict of interest, Musk wants the contract re-assigned to his company.

Another round of competitive bidding?? NAAAHH!! Oligarchs don't need no competitive bidding!!!

BTW, this is the same 卐LON who recently fired several hundred FAA workers and is now offering signing bonuses to hire back retired FAA workers!!
Ya can't make this sheet up!!!

Sounds like socialism! But maga is ok?
SteelHands · 61-69, M
@Kypro some might say that being the only one to meet the bid requirements is. But that's no reason to not start your own space and satellite deployment company.

@Shaveit could be trans and have one
Reason10 · 70-79, M
And it was paid back.
To bring you up to speed, this is how it works.

1. A loan MEANS the person handing you the cash expects to be paid back. Donald Trump's father loaned him a million dollars and he had to pay it back with interest.

2. By contrast, people like you do not have to pay back the taxpayers for the welfare checks and food stamps you con us out of.
Reason10 · 70-79, M
Wrong. The government didn't loan a penny to Musk or his companies.
Kypro · 51-55, M
@SteelHands so socialism
SteelHands · 61-69, M
@Kypro Wrong. Open bids for gov't contracts are free market capitalism.
