What part of the Trump regime hasn’t been a total failure?

I have to admit, I stupidly held hope that this time would be better than the first term, and Trump’s talk of revenge based policies were just hot air to rile his base.

I was dead wrong.

I can’t think of a single thing so far that hasn’t been a total disaster.

It's early, but I'm not sure what the measure of "failure" is for the Trump regime.

As far as the courts go, its lost a lot, but until it gets to SCOTUS, that has to expected.

It's certainly laid the groundwork for rewarding big donors and loyalists and creating opportunities to profit, legally and illegally.

I know, it all does look like a disaster, but if you look at it from Trump's perspective rather than from the perspective of the nation (or the world), I wouldn't call it a failure yet.

@Riemelt agreed 100%. Other presidents have shrunk the government using an audit process that focuses on efficiency and waste. DOGE seems to be focused on spite and headlines. I had hope that DOGE was going to be an official cabinet position that continually reviews and implements ways of cutting waste without cutting services, not a clandestine organization that acts more like teenagers in a mosh pit.
@Riemelt Well stated!
@trollslayer That’s a part of what the Inspector Generals were, but tRUMP & Muskrat axed ‘em!
Perhaps the most concerning aspect is his appointment of so many totally inept, wicked, and phony people with no valid credentials and often checkered pasts to key positions which are pivotal to the administration of our country. And we are already seeing the chaos and lawlessness after 5-1/2 weeks!

It’s abundantly clear that Putin is his real master. It’s especially disturbing that he pretends to be a Christian and that so many fall for his disturbing act.

Plenty of people had a chance to end his reign of terror as 45 including: Pence, McConnell, Graham, Garland, President Biden, and each of them gave him a pass.

I'd say their ability to retain their brainwashed cult members and foster the cognitive dissonance has been impressive. The swift dismantling of our long established checks and balance system has been frankly shocking.
@Starcrossed It is always easier to destroy than [b]create.

Destruction requires very little in the way of skills and vision. And tRUMP’s misadministration is sadly lacking in both!

his own base will suffer so he can make a profit.. sad to see

Well, I guess they are failing at wasting large amounts of taxpayer's money and at allowing illegal immigration and drug smuggling. And failing at allowing men to pretend to be girls so they can win sports trophies. They will probably fail at driving up prices by restricting the oil and gas supply too.

So much failure ROFLMAO
@justbob Wasting? On feeding people?

@justbob Tell us boB—do you believe that Haitian legal immigrants in Ohio were stealing and eating their neighbor’s pets? Do YOU believe that parents are sending their children to public schools in this country and than they come back the opposite sex that they left as?

Because both your choice of POTUS and VICE POTUS repeatedly made those claims during the election.
The callous and useful workers of America were ready to let Kamala lead by nuking something. We dodged a bullet.

You were a hater prior to losing the election and remain so and accordingly can’t be taken seriously.

The good things that patriotic US citizen taxpayers see include

1. End to Gaza war and Hamas and Hezbollah
2. Start of the end for Iran and nukes
3. Completion of the Keystine XL pipeline
4. End to killing and devastation in Russia caused war with Ukraine
5. Ukraine getting rebuilding money from its own rare earth minerals
6 US getting repaid for Ukraine payments from helping Ukraine develop and profit from rare earth minerals
7. US having a new source of rare earth minerals
8. Potential for US and Russia together to control China expansion and economic exploitation. Neither can do it alone
9.Limits on tax dollars going to illegal aliens without accountability
10. Limits of payments of tax dollars to countries and entities actively working against the interests of patriotic US citizen taxpayers
11. Limits of deadly drugs entering the country
12. Limits on government fraud and waste and potential clawing back of dollars already out the door
13. Formation of 21st century military strategies and equipment which look ahead.
14. More net dollars in the pockets of regular patriotic US citizens as a result of increased GNP, lower taxes, less government expense, more gross tax revenue due to higher GNP and tariffs which result in equal dollars coming in and going out of the country instead of way more going out
15. National pride as a result of the above
16. Less citizen division as a result of the above
