Adam Schiff’s Past Under Scrutiny as Dan Bongino Drops Bombshell FBI Announcement
California Sen. Adam Schiff (D) may soon face renewed scrutiny as conservative firebrand and former Secret Service agent Dan Bongino stunned his audience on Monday with a major announcement: he is stepping away from his career as a political commentator to take on a new role as Deputy Director of the FBI under newly appointed Director Kash Patel.
Bongino, a longtime critic of Schiff, made it clear that one of his top priorities in his new position will be exposing what he sees as the injustices behind the now-debunked Trump-Russia collusion claims.
“I’m not letting this go. I need to find out what happened—because it can never happen again,” Bongino declared, per Trending Politics, referring to the FBI’s investigation into alleged ties between President Donald Trump’s 2016 campaign and Russian operatives.
“We had the FBI, in conjunction with the Department of Justice, officials in Congress, foreign governments, and intel people fabricate a story, invent a story that could have done serious and long-term harm to international relations with a nuclear-powered foe.”
The Democratic senator played a central role in advancing the Trump-Russia allegations, TP notes. In 2017, he claimed to have seen “more than circumstantial evidence” of collusion.
Even after a House investigation found no proof, Schiff pressed forward, releasing a 21-page report detailing continued efforts to investigate Trump. However, in 2023, special counsel John Durham delivered the final blow to the claims, finding no evidence to support them and criticizing the FBI for its “lack of analytical rigor” in handling the case.
Bongino directly called out Schiff’s role in what he described as a political hit job.
“You do not get to change the course of electoral politics by fabricating a story, hijacking the justice system to give a patina of truth to a fake story,” Bongino said. “Why do I bring that up now?”
“Because who was the ringmaster of that circus? Yes, Adam Schiff.”
“And no, I’m not letting it go,” he remarked.

@Prison1203 You think Biden was a good president too, which is why you voted for Trump. You want to make the world a worse place because you think it'll make you happier. It won't.
@BohemianBabe not on your life, but you do, how is he making it a worse place? Trying to end the at between Russia and Ukraine, how would that make the world worse? I’ll wait on your factual evidence Which I’m positive that you won’t give any
@Prison1203 Trying to end the war is good, but Trump is siding with Russia against Ukraine. This will only encourage Russia, as well as other authoritarian countries, to keep invading their neighbors. If Putin knows that America has his back when he invades Ukraine, why stop there?
@BohemianBabe he’s not siding with anyone he want concessions from them both, neither of them want to concede anything so the war continues, but Trump was correct that had he been in office there never would have been a war
@Prison1203 He said Ukraine started the war. He called Zelenskyy a dictator, but refused to call Putin a dictator, even though it's the other way around. He joined Russia, North Korea, and Belarus in voting against condemning Russia for the war at the UN. Finally, Ukraine should not concede anything, because Russia was the one that started the war. It's not like they attacked each other at the same time, Ukraine is on the defense. But because Trump is compromised by Russia and China, and because the Republicans are fascist, they're siding with Russia.
What message does that send? Russia can invade our allies, and America will make sure they get at least some of what they want? Why would Russia stop? Russia could invade Poland next, knowing that even if they don't get the entire land, Trump will allow them to at least get some land. This is a horrible strategy. It didn't work with the Nazis, it won't work with Putin.
Trump should just bomb the hell out of both of them and be done with it
Fantastic. 🙄
how is Trump compromised by Russia
Trump was doing business in Russia before and while he was president. Considering Trump is a one man crime wave, we know he did tons of illegal stuff with his businesses in Russia. Trump is also in major debt, which is why he ran for president in the first place, some of that debt is definitely to Russian and Chinese businesses. Also, the Muller Report wasn't able to pin direct collusion between Trump and Russia, but it did find that Trump's staffers were colluding with Russia. Legally speaking, we have to assume Trump didn't know anything about it, but... come on.
I know you’re not smart enough to type all that out yourself
I'm literally the smartest and sexiest person here.
@Prison1203 We're supposed to learn from history. If you don't think Poland should have been destroyed because it was invaded, why should Ukraine be destroyed for being invaded?
