What if the media was conservative

There's a difference between conservative and capitalism.

ALL media is most certainly capitalistic.

To be conservative however has absolutely nothing to do with capitalism. Conservatives conserve or don't use money, resources, the environment or whatever.

Conservativism has little to do with BRING IN money for billionaires That is greed! That is what this Republican party represents. Pure capitalistic greed.

All these cuts are not to conserve. But to bring in the money for billionaires. Capitalism in it's most ugly, unempathetic way.

I think that depends on how you define “conservative”.

If you consider a spectrum with “conservative” on one end, and “liberal” on the other, and that most media is “for profit”, then on a whole the media in the usa is near the center.

And considering that one definition of “conservative” is a resistance to change things, then as a whole American media is slightly center right, because that is what would bring most advertisers.

The idea that the media in the USA leans left is a myth - and based upon what “conservatives” define as “left”. Conservatives tend to take extreme viewpoints, and any move towards any kind of social change is “liberal”.

In other words, if a media source simply writes a story about pride week, to conservatives that is promoting social change and therefore “liberal”.

Who do you think owns it, now? Hint - there's a "revolving door" between Lockheed and the news media... Boeing and CNN like the same stories.

With maybe the exception of NewsMax, there is no conservative media.

There is only the FAR LEFT media (as in CNN, PMSNBC, etc) and FoxNews, (which gives both sides of the aisle equal time.)

Stories would only be told from one perspective, facts would be replaced with speculation, and everything is somehow the liberal's fault

Might be some factual reporting instead of attempting to indoctrinate us

Conservative talk radio and Fox News would have never been needed.
