Trump has already crossed enough lines that I would have thought would have been too far for most republicans, yet they are cowards and do nothing about it. For that reason, I have no doubt if Trump asked congress to draft a bill suspending elections due to some made-up crisis (border security for example) the GOP congress would draft it and trump would sign it. The courts could declare it unconstitutional, but if Trump defies the court the only option is violence. The 40% would be okay with it because sticking it to the libs is higher on their priority than the constitution.

This really is a Star Wars plot, and a “dark side@ has certainly infected the GOP.
