Can Trump abolish the US Constitution by executive order?

And... if he did, would 40% of Americans be OK with that as long as a ketamine-addicted billionaire said they were targeting government waste?

I think the trick is not to abolish it, but to use it to establish a monarchy. Yes, that's possible. Republics are mortal.

@helenS you think our next election will be like Russia or Turkey ? (Rulers for life ).
helenS · 36-40, F
@AthrillatheHunt No I don't think that's how it works, in the US.

@helenS neither does monarchy but you mentioned that.

@AthrillatheHunt "Monarchy" doesn't mean there is a king, it means there is one ruler who is above the law.

@helenS that’s not my understanding of the word.i would never refer to Putin or erdogon as monarchs

@helenS how things work in the US is no longer up to the American people.
They now accept being told how things work.

@newjaninev2 Orange man baaaaaaad.

@newjaninev2 Not all of them do. Resistance takes time.
In 1925 Mussolini was the duce, and in 1945 his corpse was in a public square in Milan, with a howling mob cursing and kicking and spitting on his remains.
I see that coming again, with the leading mobster hanging from a gas station lantern.
Looking forward
