I believe this will turn into a insult match. Google would never approve of selling their primary bread winner. And that is what openAI is.
It's far more than just chatGPT or even Gemini. Their very search engine is run on AI not to mention Google analytics. Even YouTube is using openAI algorithms.
Musk won't even approach half his wealth which is closer to what all of that is worth.
While I never approved of Google's monopoly over openAI to begin with, I don't agree that anyone else should own openAI. It's too basic to programming today. It's like someone owning all the farmland in the USA.

$97.4 billion to be precise. Meanwhile, Sam Altman has offered to purchase Twitter from Musk for $9.74 billion🤣😂
Musk has also pumped something like $30 or $40 billion into his xAI, including $10 on a supercomputer in Memphis. xAI has been using Twitter as a major source of training data. Can we infer then, given the attempt to buy ChatGPT, that training on Twitter isn't working out so well??
