@PalteseMalconFunch Republican Karl Rove, Former White House Deputy Chief of Staff, wrote a tactical manual on how to defeat your political opposition. One of the tactics he listed was "Accuse your opponent of your own weakness." It's a very effective tactic (I think Goebbels stated something similar in his advice for the Nazi Party in the 1930s).

Goebbels actually described it while doing it. I don’t think people realize how incredibly good he was at what he did. And how dangerous it truly is.
