TARRIFFS...THOUGHTS???

I can see a negative impact on American Consumers.
What solution could be in place as to not cause a terrible impact, food, gas, hardline or softline merchandise?

*Reciprocal tariffs (you tariff us, we tariff you); pretty simple concept to anyone with a basic understanding of logistics & economics. In terms of carrot vs the stick, it's a very useful stick for countries that refuse to negotiate fair trade deals. The US has a trade deficit, largely in part to trade deals like nafta, quality/ISO standards, labor laws, etc. that US competitors largely ignore (especially asian markets). Countries boasting a large export of shit products /w a trade surplus are in no position to lecture anyone about trade "ethics".
