Now ICE and Chicago police say it wasn't them.

What does this leave us? Vigilante group pretending to be ICE?

@nonsensiclesnail It's an interesting story. The school is insisting they showed ICE credentials. It's definitely possible they were confused. I guess we will have to wait to hear the real story (if it ever comes out).

I see a few possibilities:
1) School officials were mistaken and it was secret service and not ICE
2) It was secret service, but they used phony credentials for some reason.
3) It was someone impersonating ICE
4) ICE actually was there and Secret Service is providing a phony admission to cover for them.

@trollslayer I hear that someone threatening Trump via TikTok was arrested today. So it may be related to that but I don’t understand the connection to ice or why they would be involved. There isn’t enough information. Probably won’t ever be.

@nonsensiclesnail Not that far fetched for school officials to be confused in the moment, but considering the agents left their cards, you would think the media who reported this would ask to see the cards? Plus, I would think that Secret Service would come with a warrant if they felt a threat was credible. Or wait for the kid at his house.
