Fair enough...how about that he didn't actually make the Nazi salute and you all are falling for a media hoax?
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M

@Guitarman123 Whatever, you don't know what you are talking about. Here's the full video you can hear and see it yourself.

[media=https://youtu.be/oQNKi4jpIyk]

During his brief speech — available in full on YouTube — Musk said to the crowd gathered in honor of Trump's victory, "And I just want to say thank you for making it happen. Thank you." He then briskly extended his right hand from his heart to the crowd in front of him. He repeated the gesture for the people behind him. Then, in a moment omitted from the users' videos, he said, placing his hand over his heart, "Thank you. My heart goes out to you. It is thanks to you that the future of civilization is assured, thanks to you."

We reached out to Musk for comment via two of his companies but did not receive responses. After we published this article, he addressed the gesture on X, replying (archived) to one user who quoted his line, "My heart goes out to you," with an emoji showing a face and hearts. He also posted he believed "legacy media propaganda" improperly reported on the matter, specifically addressing (archived) his disagreement with a Wikipedia page reading, "In his speech during the second Trump inauguration, Musk twice extended his right arm towards the crowd in an upward angle. The gesture was compared to a Nazi salute or fascist salute. Musk denied any meaning behind the gesture."

@SumKindaMunster and he didnt do it as an accident. Its clear that he made the gesture TWICE with complete conviction.
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Guitarman123 I never said it was an accident...I said such things require intent. If I scratch my nose with my middle finger and you see it, am I flipping you off?
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@SumKindaMunster are you seriously comparing that to the nazi salute? I hope not. The evidence of him giving that salute is blinding and your excuses are beyond weak
SumKindaMunster · 51-55, M
@Guitarman123 Whatever. Your logic is weak and your ability to understand simple human behavior is obvious. Believe what you wish.
Guitarman123 · 31-35, M
@SumKindaMunster yes. Using the nazi salute is a simple and obvious hint that musks political views are far right. As is his support for the adf party in Germany.
