It stands for Diversity Equity Inclusion. This is not a quota program. It's a program that endorses businesses to hire people who would otherwise not be hired. And yes they must be qualified. This includes gender and religion and the disabled. As of right now this program has been discontinued. There are some who feel that DEI has nullified skill. It overlooks the qualifed. @Zonuss There isn’t a specific form that every employer follows or better yet HAS to follow. Every employer looks for different qualities in an employee. No one can prove that the most qualified person is hired any more than you can prove they aren’t being hired.
This is why it is left up to the employer to decide who they want to hire no matter, their race, religion or whether they’re male or female Tell me how the playing field can be leveled
@missyannDEI is a term that has been tainted and misconstrued by the Far Right. That's what they do when anything that empowers or gives leverage to people of color. If there was true equality there would be no reason for this program to exist in the first place. Especially in this racially charged era of Trumpism. Act like you know.
