It stands for Diversity Equity Inclusion. This is not a quota program. It's a program that endorses businesses to hire people who would otherwise not be hired. And yes they must be qualified. This includes gender and religion and the disabled. As of right now this program has been discontinued. There are some who feel that DEI has nullified skill. It overlooks the qualifed. What about the two or more applicants that all have similar qualifications? The white male is often the least considered a lot of the time in the name of equality.
@Zonuss My experience doesn’t require me to prove anything to you. Where is your proof that isn’t sometimes the case? You can’t prove or disprove either nor can I. You can’t google what I’ve witnessed at work. That’s what you’re saying by asking for proof. You want a link to a story saying so. There are a thousand lies to every fact. Why do you ask for the impossible? Common sense is proof enough.
