@markinkansas Yes my comment was about Canadian health care. If you get diagnosed at a time when the health care system is plush with cash (early in the budget cycle) you will get much better care than if you are diagnosed when the cash is all gone (late in the budget cycle. My wife was diagnosed in March and got very prompt and dare I say excellent care. My cousin was diagnosed in December and dare I say the care she got was worse than a 3rd world state. By the time they finally got money enough to treat her the cancer was simply too far advanced. The strange thing is that both had the same kind of cancer.
