@NativePortlander1970
not much. You might make it a day.

@Lostsavage Then You did not learn the lesson of the original Red Dawn (1984), you claim the weapons and ammunition of your enemies you take out, how do you think the Muhajadeen got their stuff in Afghanistan with the Soviets before the late US Rep. Charlie Wilson covertly supplied them.

@NativePortlander1970 If I remember right the protagonists in Red Dawn still all die. As far as Afghanistan goes - 90% of the world's opium probably can buy weapons from anybody.
@Lostsavage Nope, Patrick Swayze and Lea Thompson survived.

@NativePortlander1970 I have a notion that in a true SHTF situation. High powered ammunition would be used up within months. Those of us who know how to make gunpowder, napalm, phosgene, etc. will easily clean up the scraps.

@NativePortlander1970 oh yeah. Hell I probably haven't seen that since the Eighties.
@Lostsavage I'm also very skilled in archery.
@Lostsavage I should also add that too many large caliber masturbators discount the smaller caliber cartridges, the .22LR and .380ACP are often scoffed at.

@NativePortlander1970 You also can use all Oregon's phentonol zombies as cannon fodder to hide behind.
@Lostsavage I watch it every couple of years, youtube movies is currently showing it this month at no cost.

@NativePortlander1970 small caliber is great for hunting but in war you want to do more than put a tiny hole through your enemy. Might I recommend also that reading Sun Tzu Art of War is better preparation than watching movies.

@Lostsavage A .22 is far more deadly in the hands of an expert than a .308 is in the hands of a novice.

@NativePortlander1970 try killing a bear with a 22 sometime. If you live through that maybe I'll believe you.
@Lostsavage Same rifle I have.
