Why? Because it’s good optics. They need to be seen to be carry favor with Trump in other to avoid having their companies products hit by US tariffs on imports from China.

Realistically, the last bunch will turn on a company even without a gay CEO if Trump tells them to, so it really only makes sense to focus on the big guy.
@ron122 Yeah, I'm not saying everyone who voted for the guy is in it, but there's a cult there, and anyone who'd choose Trump's say so as a determinative reason to buy or boycott Apple seems pretty wacky.
