Who owns the moon?

What happened to the flags Apollo astronauts left on the moon in 1969? The Homestead Act of 1862 granted land to settlers, who had staked claims on frontier territory after 5 years of doing so. The Chinese could claim the dark side of the moon as their territory. This would depend on US control of contested domains on the lunar surface. If we loose hegemony on Earth to China, we must not cede America's domination on the moon.

Earth's only natural satellite has far more strategic geopolitical importance than Greenland. Forget about Mars. Trump must get Elon Musk to focus on the moon.

@LordT aka, a nothing burger treaty.

no country actually capable of reaching moon has ratified it.
@sree251 to Mae West's remains 😒the moon of course! What did you start this post off with?
@LordT The Moon Treaty is irrelevant as no nation with the capacity to go there has signed it.
